Website Addictions!

Don't hunt me down and kill me okay! ... I've been super busy with a lot of stuff lately (well I have meant to have been super busy with really important stuff like college study and working BUT no ... whats really been keeping me busy lately is youtube! ... Yes, I'll be the first to admit that I am just slightly obsessed with this AWESOMETASTIC website! ... It's definitely up there among my favourites! ... the others of course including the other very addictive Twitter and Facebook.

I will say that I am new to the whole tweeting, twitting, twitter, tweet, twit world ... BUT have no fear, I am learning and loving to master it by the second!
When I first got the app ob my Iphone it actually scanned my contacts to see id there was anyone else on twitter who was in my phone (if that makes sense) ... and I ended up following Kay ... who I first met through Jess (a friend from high school) and then they list contact and then we lost contact and then BAM! .. the other day I added her and she accepted ... then tweeted me saying WADDUP - (well, she didn't exactly say those words ... but something along those lines .. let's just say that!)
ANYWAY ... now we've got back in touch and it's pretty brilliant! -- So, point to my story ... twitter is awesome!

In other, less exciting news (if you bore easily I would suggest skipping this part) ... I was called reclusive the other day! ... I know! ... I thought 'whaaaat?' as well (you may not have been thinking that exactly) ... to  which I replied 'I'm not reclusive, I just don't like spending a lot of time around you anymore' .. which, in retrospect may have been a bit harsh ... but hey, I've always found that the truth is easier to deal with than a lie. Lies always get found out in the end and you would then have that added deception on top of whatever grief you had to deal with in the first place! ... That's just my thoughts anyway.

SUPER COOL PIZZA SHAPED OOMPA LOOMAS! ... now that I have your attention back ... I'll move away from that boring subject ... you could probably start reading again from about ...
... Here!

Well ... (I find this interesting anyway ... by all means, feel free to stop reading if you want again) I have been working on my scrapbook/journal/bucket list all combined ... I found some old pictures of when I went too Sydney (which I'd been looking for for a while actually!) ... and BAM! ... That's right, there they were in the top draw of my desk all this time!! I've got some piccy's as well of 2 pages in the book ... I will warn you in advance though ... I am very very young in the photo's and I have my traditional 'all of my hair pulled back out of my face look' because that was the way I rolled ... back then anyway! ... I may have been about 13 or 14. The point is the pages in the book ... pay no attention to my style which may I add was pretty funky for the time ... to me anyway!

Long Time No Blog.

Yes, okay, fine, I know ... I haven't posted in agessss!!!

Don't blame me .. blame the stupid busy work schedule or reality! ... It really bites sometimes!
Anyway. Guess what!? I went to see 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows part 2' last Sunday and basically the only way to describe it is OH MY GOSH!!

It was absolutely ah mazing!! ... But I can't believe it's over!!
I'm not really one of those people who are obsessed with everything HP (however I will admit that I used to be) ... I don't want to track down the actors and pounce on them like some crazy fan .... But I really really enjoyed the books and the movies!

Look at it though, it's been 10 years since the first movie and now ... everyone is finished, it's the last time all of the cast and crew were together! ... It's the end of an era!!
MIND BLOWING ... That's what it is!

I think that whats so appealing about these books and these movies to people is that fact that Jo Rowling has created this amazing world ... and really, the only thing that people seem to want, is to escape reality!

Okay so on another note .. I'm going to have to hit the sheets soon. I have to get up early in the morning because I have an interview in the city at an Architectural Firm!!

Wish me luck!
Time for me to escape my reality for at least 6 hours ... here's hoping anyway!

Dr Jekyll and ... MacBook!

For all you classic book lovers out there, I'll share with you one if my favourite ones that has always captured my intrigue ... From the first page to the very last, 'Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde' is one of the best spine tingling thrillers even to this day ... in my opinion anyway.

I was so fascinated by this book when I first read it I wanted to delve deeper into the origins of this fantastically awesome story! I discovered that Robert Lewis Stevenson, the author, actually wrote this book in about three days. It was a reflection of his dream like state and split personality, evidentially you could say that Stevenson was Dr Jekyll, and that his darker side that roamed the streets at night was Mr Hyde (a less horrible version I'm sure).

I particularly found this book interesting because I myself think it's fascinating knowing what makes people tick, what makes them do what they do!

For those of you who haven't read the book, I won't completely spoil the ending for you, but I will say that if classic thrillers and disturbing human psychology interests you, then this is definitely a book worth your reading!!

On another note .... this is my first blog that I am writing on my new ... MacBook Pro!!! .. Feel privileged .... I love it already and that's saying something considering I've had it a total of about 3 hours now! ... This computer is just oozing out of the keys with awesome sauce and trendiness, it really is great for all my design programs as well ... TurboCAD-ing it up ... all the way!! ... It's most definitely been the highlight of my technological journey .. so far!
P.S. Happy Independence Day USA!!!
